Jewellery as an art is a dynamic combination of materials, methods, concepts, and subjects that continue the challenging of boundaries that was already well underway in the 20th century.

I want to think that culture raises social issues and doesn’t suggests creative solutions to them.

According to Oyama Y. street culture is the catalyst for aesthetic experiences. I am looking at contemporary jewellery to reference the anthropology of a Xhosa man to create Xhosa bling. A Xhosa man identifies himself by his social culture.
