using the anthropology of a Xhosa man to produce contemporary jewellery.
My research methodology is:
- i will be looking at a milestone of a xhosa man.
- find the worth of the milestone.
- find the purpose of the milestone.
- then Aspect at ceremony that goes with the milestone.
The Plan is: Manufacturing pieces of jewellery that are an indicator of status based on the milestones a Xhosa man has to go through to fulfill his manhood. i would like these indicators of status to always be a reminder to an individual of his status and the responsibility that comes with the status.

3. look at the responsibilities that come with the milestone.
4. look at the ceremony is merely looking at the way they wear the attire, the colors and the symbols.
All the above mention points will be my design process blue print, I would like to create jewellery that in a sense has motivational aspects. responsibility seems to have notions of difficulty, but i would like to create pieces that can in a way lighten the sense of burden.
